Paul Nicholson

Paul is the Managing Director of Fermata Workplace Solutions and a licensed mediator, private investigator and certified HR professional. Paul employs best practices in investigation, HR strategy and dispute resolution to provide strategic workplace conflict solutions for organizations across Canada. Paul's work is grounded in timeliness, clarity, fairness, and trauma-informed practice. 

Prior to starting Fermata Workplace Solutions, Paul led a team of workplace investigators and mediators conducting dozens of simultaneous complex cases and interventions across a wide range of sectors and areas of focus, and has conducted hundreds of investigations,  mediations and assessments over 10+ years within a broad range of provincially and federally regulated organizations.

Paul is a regular speaker and trainer on topics relating to workplace conflict and investigations. Paul and his family are currently fostering Larry, a future Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guide training to become an Autism Support Dog. Larry doesn't always share Paul's sense of humour, but he's a promising intern.
